Too often, entrepreneurs seeking investor dollars and those who want to become investors in startup ventures feel they can’t ask questions during investor meetings as to what is being discussed, and/or they feel the point of entry is too high even to explore the opportunity of investing in startup ventures. Startup Lingo - Decoding Startup Venture Investor Conversations will provide overviews and examples of terminology and situations where terms are used to help break down barriers and build confidence for people to enter these conversations. We'll do this by breaking down a Shark Tank TV show pitch, which highlights Wisconsin-based company Hug Sleep. This event is also a great opportunity to learn more about the Doyenne Investor Accelerator.

This event will be offered both in-person at StartingBlock Madison and virtual.

Directions for location and parking information will be sent to all attendees before the event.

Registered attendees will also receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the event.

We understand life happens. If you register one way and then plan to attend the other way, don't worry, all registered attendees will receive both attendance options to be able to join the event either way.

After the event, an email will be sent to all registered attendees for the recording of the workshop for you to watch as needed.
